Black Cherry Grandmother Clock

This Pinch-Waist (Grandmother) clock is

made in Southern Black Cherry, 76" tall

by 14" wide and 10" deep. It features.....

....a Maple, Cherry, Mahogany, and Walnut Marquetry face

with Paduk banding and Ebony hands.....

....a mirrored waist compartment with a glass door...

....and a raised pannel door and custom Herring Bone

Marquetry banding in the base moulding.

In this detail of the Marquetry face you can see

the sweep second hand with its own dial.

Also the Cross pendant which gently rocks

back-and-forth with the pendalum. (It's really cool!)

As you can see the Awesome All Wood

Mechanism is visable through glass pannels

and a mirrored back in the hood.

We Marquetried the pemdalum bob with Chechin,

Cherry, and Maple, in keeping with the theme

of the clock.

We also Marquetried the weight front and back

with a personal message from the owners...

to their heirs!!
